Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Principal Engineer (Python and Flask) to join our team.
Responsibilites:
- Write code troubleshoot and design architecture for new & existing features across our tech stack: React Python PostgreSQL (via SQLAlchemy) AWS.
- Advise Product on the roadmap help define appropriate scope forecast timelines reliably and hold yourself and the dev team accountable to its deliverables.
- Monitor and address infrastructure health by writing & executing on a technical roadmap.
- Coach other engineers to be their best by setting high standards clearing blockers and leading by example.
- Represent the engineering team at a leadership level. Set your team KPIs & align engineering efforts with Leadership Product & Service to support business goals.
Requirements
- 5 years of software engineering experience with a trackrecord of building great product people love.
- Demonstrated track record as either a leader of a team or a manager.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Typescript preferred).
- Proficiency in serverside web technologies (Python/Flask preferred).
