As a Seeds Field Crops Finance Business Partner (Central and Spring Crops) you will be responsible for performing Financial Planning & Analysis activities for the Seeds Central Europe Commercial Unit and Spring Crops. You will be a trusted partner to Seeds Commercial Finance Lead Central Europe and Spring Crops to provide insightful analysis and recommendations on the respective financials. You will also drive improvements and technology adaptations in Financial Planning & Analysis processes.

- Analyse monthly sales and function costs and provide relevant commentaries and insights to finance and business stakeholders
- Participate in monthend closing processes including lock meetings
- Provide timely and insightful financial analysis to support business decisions understanding business performance on a monthly / annual basis
- Leverage technology (SAC) to further develop (SAC stories) and fully utilize available reports to meet the needs of the various business owners on time with high quality
- Full accountability for the analysis and commentaries to business stakeholders for variance analysis both function cost and gross profit reports
- Provide reliable and timely budgets and latest outlooks for P&L area in scope. Drive the process of annual and adhock functional cost budget review
- Provide support and guidance to business managers and function cost owners on achieving budget targets. Analyze the effectiveness of budget allocation and utilization
- Participate in strategic business planning and business processes by preparing financial budgets and rolling forecasts
- Cocreate and review commercial terms and policies (price model i.e. discounts / rebates / incentive plans) contracts support of commercial processes and new business models (financial consideration and frameworks for strategic business projects)
- Support local Sales & Operations Planning process as well as any other operational meetings with commercial team in Central Europe and regional Spring Crops portfolio team

You will be a great fit if you have:
- Bachelor/Master/MBA/Business School in Economics or Finance
- 5 years of previous experience in Finance and Controlling is a must
- Business facing experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of IFRS accounting budgeting forecasting and planning processes
- Excel & SAP knowledge are a must business intelligence systems an advantage
- Advanced financial and accounting acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English is a must other languages are a plus
