The Ultimo application consists of various services developed in C#. Together these make up the back end. The front end is written in JavaScript. Here we use a proprietary web framework. The current generation of the application runs on Azure Kubernetes. We use various cloudnative techniques to offer a stable and scalable platform. Customers on our Azure platform are automatically provided with fixes and new features biweekly.
We set highquality standards for the work delivered and have high coverage with various types of automated testing. We work with .NET 8 (C# Xamarin/MAUI Azure Kubernetes Azure SQL and JavaScript.

The Senior Business Analyst is a member of the development team who knows the details of the customers requirements and translates them into the required functionality in Ultimo. Is the functional point of contact in the development team. Works closely together with the Product Owner to make the translation from business requirements to Ultimo functionality. Is responsible for the intake of reported defects.
The person we seek is interested in and experienced with user interface questions/requirements and capable of:
- Mapping and elaborating business requirements and translating these into standard functionality in Ultimo
- Refining the Product Backlog to reach backlog items that are ready
- Writing implementation documentation
- Sharing knowledge with colleagues by answering questions and giving presentations and demos
Contributing to customer panels with demonstrations and gathering requirements
Qualifications :
- University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a field relevant to the technical and/or functional area of responsibility preferably Technical Computer Science Business Information Systems or Business IT & Management
- Command of spoken and written English
- Affinity with business processes
- Experience with Ultimo or comparable software for supporting processes
- Experience with specifying functional requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in the profession as a business analyst (or comparable)
- Uptodate and proven knowledge of and experience with Agile software development
- Highly adaptable to changing circumstances because you will be one of the first members of the IFS Ultimo Team there is still a lot to discover!
