Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant F&B Manager / In Charge of Beverage who is passionate about food and beverage operations and looking to develop their career. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both wine and mixology and have a deep understanding of beverage management. This role will be split equally between assisting in overall team operations and leading beverage management.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Operations:

  • Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
  • Ensure that service standards are consistently met maintaining highquality guest experiences.
  • Supervise and coordinate the F&B team providing leadership and guidance in daily operational tasks.
  • Assist in staff training development and performance evaluations fostering a positive and efficient team environment.
  • Help manage and resolve customer feedback complaints and suggestions promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other departments including kitchen to ensure smooth operations.

Beverage Management:

  • Oversee the beverage program including the management of wine spirits beer and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
  • Develop and implement beverage menus focusing on innovation and seasonal offerings while aligning with the brands identity.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure that all beverage stock is appropriately managed and rotated.
  • Train and mentor staff on proper beverage service mixology and wine knowledge.
  • Keep uptodate with industry trends new wines cocktails and mixology techniques to enhance guest experiences.
  • Monitor and maintain beverage profitability ensuring cost control and waste reduction.

Qualifications :

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the Food & Beverage industry with a solid understanding of both wine and mixology (previous experience as a Senior Supervisor or Assistant F&B Manager preferred).
  • Strong passion for career growth and development toward becoming an F&B Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of beverage operations including wine cocktails and service techniques.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of food and beverage trends along with an understanding of guest preferences and service excellence.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns and feedback positively.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of pointofsale (POS) systems inventory management and scheduling tools.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a luxury hotel.
  • Wine certification or a strong background in wine knowledge and pairings.
  • Mixology certifications or advanced cocktail knowledge.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
