Job Description of Procurement Engineer
3rd party role for Vadodara.

Role and
responsibilities

Sending RFQ, Negotiations & Order finalization

Close follow-up with Vendors to achieve required OTD.

Having a knowledge of industry domain technical std & quality requirements
used in Mechanical Components.

Maintaining a Planning Schedule for project shortages

Coordination with engineering, projects & quality to give timely
manufacturing clearances.

Maintaining the load schedule /rating for vendors

Supplier Development in specific category

Frequent travels to suppliers on Pan India basis

Preference will be given to a candidate having a product knowledge of Bulk
material Handling Equipment like Wagon Tipplers/ Stacker reclaimers/Apron
Feeders

Solid understanding for SAP and experience in MS-Office applications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Diploma with 4 years or / B.E Minimum 2 years of experience in
procurement activities.

Technical understanding of products engineering and manufacturing

Understanding of supply processes and practices

Basic negotiation and contractual skills

Secure command of English communications skills (Oral and Written)

Good planning and organizing skills

Solid understanding and experience in MS-Office applications

Learning agility
