Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases.
- Design develop and execute automation scripts using appropriate tools.
- Identify document and track bugs using standard bug tracking systems.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with internal teams (developers product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor the debugging process and provide feedback for improvement.
- Track and report quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defects.
- Stay updated with current QA trends tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Handson experience with whitebox and blackbox testing.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium Postman etc..
- Handson experience in API testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience in performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Available to join immediately.
You've at least 2 years of hands-on experience working as project manager. Bonus if you've worked on building SaaS products/projects. You've excellent knowhow of software systems. You ve great communication skills (verbal and written). You re driven enough to build processes that scale up. You ve clear understanding of agile development methodology. You can combine technical and business skills to understand, test , and challenge while working harmoniously with the business and technology owners You are seeking a full-time engagement and are not distracted by freelancing / personal projects.
