Job Description
As a Senior Financial Analyst International Logistics you will play a critical role in providing financial oversight and strategic support for global logistics operations. Youll be responsible for analyzing international shipping costs duties and tariffs managing financial planning cycles and identifying cost optimization opportunities. Your financial expertise will support key business decisions enhance reporting capabilities and ensure compliance with global trade regulations. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to drive efficiency and provide actionable insights that improve financial performance. Location: Hybrid schedule based in Deerfield IL (required onsite TuesdayThursday)
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze costs associated with international logistics including shipping customs duties and tariffs.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgets/forecasts and identify reasons for discrepancies by business unit.
- Partner with the Digital team to enhance the inbound logistics dashboard by incorporating duty/tariff spend providing overall oversight and ensuring data accuracy.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist with developing and managing annual logistics budgets.
Cost Management:
- Identify costsaving opportunities including transportation modes tariff strategies routing and vendor agreements.
- Develop financial models to assess the profitability of international logistics projects.
- Provide financial insights to support contract negotiations with carriers and thirdparty logistics providers.
Data Management:
- Maintain and analyze logistics data to support decisionmaking.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into financial systems (e.g. freight and duty standards).
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and financial policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks in logistics operations.
Collaboration:
- Serve as a key financial partner to the Director of Global Transportation providing analytical support and insights.
- Collaborate with logistics supply chain and finance teams to drive datadriven decisionmaking.
- Present financial recommendations to leadership and support strategic initiatives related to global logistics as requested.
Qualifications :
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in logistics finance or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with international logistics and supply chain management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g. CPA CFA) are a plus.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics principles

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $71000 USD $107800 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
