You will support Operations team in the performance of logistics related matters not limited to the followings:
Shipment Coordination:
- Plan schedule and monitor all import and export shipments.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders shipping agents and customs brokers to ensure smooth transportation and delivery.
- Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays damages or documentation discrepancies.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation including bills of lading commercial invoices and packing lists.
- Verify import export and local transportation invoices and submit to finance department.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of trade policies and regulations.
Cost Control:
- Negotiate with freight forwarders and transportation companies to obtain competitive rates.
- Monitor and manage shipping costs to optimize the logistics budget.
- Review freight and logistics budgets working to minimize unnecessary expenses.
- Assess different shipping modes and routes to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transportation costs
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on logistics cost performance shipment status
- Analyze freight data to identify trends costsaving opportunities and inefficiencies
Logistics Operations Support
- Handle goods receipt and invoicing for intercompany purchase order in Discos II.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of stock movement.
- Prepare ReRent purchase order including delivery and return arrangement with warehouse team.
- Assist Demand Planning Manager in updating and maintaining target plan projects return data to support accurate inventory planning and demand forecasting
Collaboration & Problem Solving:
- Assist Demand Planning Manager to work closely with internal teams to forecast and plan logistics needs accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with customers vendors and internal teams regarding shipping schedules and updates.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to logistics transportation and customs clearance.
- Handle unexpected delays and emergencies with quick effective solutions.
Qualifications :
Personal Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in logistics supply chain management or transportation.
- Experience with international shipping customs regulations and documentation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Discos II SAP Oracle) is advantageous
- Strong understanding of logistics processes shipping documentation and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of cost control and budget management in logistics operations
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors suppliers customers and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation and problemsolving abilities especially related to shipping and transportation issues.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently
- Ability to work in a MNC environment and working with external stakeholders
- Good proficiency in English.
