Job Description

Universal City:
At our Universal City office interns will have access to the NBCUCommutes program which provides fully subsidized transit passes to fulltime lower lot employees good for unlimited rides on all Metro bus and rail such as the Metro Red Line.
Academic Year Recruitment Timeline:
April 21 May 9: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)
Early May Mid June: First round video interviews
Mid June Mid July: Second round interviews
Throughout July: Selected candidates receive offers
Academic Year Internship Program:

- Program Dates: September 15 2025 April 17 2026
- Time Commitment: 1624 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

NBCUniversals Filmed Entertainment Global Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in the U.S. Canada and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversals content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6500 feature films and 170000 television episodes including current and classic titles nonscripted programming kids sports news longform and shortform programming from Universal Pictures Focus Features Universal Television UCP Universal International Studios Sky Studios Universal Television Alternative Studio NBC Late Night properties DreamWorks Animation Telemundo and more as well as locally produced content from around the world. Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
Areas of placement may include but are not limited to:
- Information Systems Services: Intern will work with data through the frontend of applications as directed and prepare data for programmatic updating working interactively with our Technology teams.
- International Digital Media: Intern will support the team responsible for the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe.
- Sales Admin: Intern will help log all incoming agreements & amendments prepare and distribute internal sales reports and assist in processing orders for content.
- Sales Planning: Intern will support the various teams in the department by reviewing deal terms running availability reports and various data sets. Once deals are close the team manages long term deals with product notices. Liaising with clients and Sales team with all aspects of managing TV output deals for several designated territories.
- Sales Strategy & Development: Intern will partner with sales finance legal operations and senior management to support deal negotiations commercial analytics and projects focused on licensing SVOD and AVOD businesses
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a degreegranting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026. December 2025 graduates are not eligible for ourAcademic Year Internship Program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above 30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future toretain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work 1624 hours per week from September 15 2025 April 17 2026.
- Must be willing to work in Universal City CA.
For further clarification candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F1 CPT F1 OPT J1 M1 are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an EVerify company requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
- Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

- Strong excel skills (including prior work experience with excel models pivot tables and formulas).
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50.
