Role Summary
You will focus on managing financial risks implementing controls and ensuring accurate accounting processes. You will have a background in financial risk assessment revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards. You will report to the Accounting and Reporting Director.
Main Responsibilities
- Control Deployment Management: Oversee the endtoend process for deploying controls and ensuring revenue recognition processes including communication planning scoping training transition and feedback.
- Executive Partnership: Manage relationships with executives across multiple teams to ensure excellence in service provided by the GFS Team in Costa Rica.
- Deliverables Management: Handle quarterly monthly and weekly deliverables with a focus on accuracy and excellence including internal and external audits peer reviews and management reviews.
- MonthEnd Support: Help with monthend activities for NA and SLATAM Revenue Recognition such as journal entries reconciliations and investigations of open and stale items.
- Financial Analysis and Communication: Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for monthend and forecast periods for Directors and above and participate in business calls to explain outputs.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of over 10 people focusing on development to enhance value improve processes and use lean and RPA methodologies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in finance economics accounting or other related bachelors degree.
- Advanced English level.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Finance.
- Experience in finance roles with varying accounting responsibilities including: Revenue Recognition Reconciliations Financial Reporting Journal Entries.
- Experience business partnering with senior levels of partners.
- Improve remove roadblocks in a team environment.
- Experience managing projects endtoend and experience getting results organizing and prioritizing deadlines.
- Familiar with IFRS15 and SOX Controls deployment as an ideal.
- Knowledge of Lean training and RPA knowledge.
