JOB SUMMARY
Oversees communications coordination community relations social media management grant development and fundraising as well as sponsorship programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing Communication or other closely related field plus two 2 years of directly related experience OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is typically performed in a standard office environment usually Monday through Friday. May require lifting and carrying up to a maximum of 50 lbs. and 68 hours of standing/walking on event days.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS POSITION
Late night early morning and weekend schedule adjustments are occasionally necessary to accommodate special events and media coverage.
***Due to the nature of this position the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements and Must receive a verified negative test result on a mandatory drug test before starting in this position.
