Job Description
Drive significant linguistic progress in our motivated students at our independent Newham school as a dedicated French Teacher!
Our academically focused independent school in Newham is looking for a committed and resultsoriented French Teacher to join our modern languages department. You will play a key role in ensuring students achieve their full linguistic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver wellstructured and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 35.
- Implement effective assessment and feedback strategies to track student progress.
- Set high expectations and support students in achieving their target grades.
- Utilize a range of teaching techniques to cater to different learning paces.
- Contribute to the development of resources and strategies for raising attainment in French.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in French or a related subject.
- Experience teaching French at secondary level (or strong potential as an ECT).
- Native or nearnative fluency in French.
- A proven track record (or clear potential) for driving student progress.
- Excellent communication organizational and data analysis skills.
