DNV is now looking for students who are ready to join us for the summer of 2025. We are primarily looking for juniors or seniors who want to join our summer internship within Maritime Business.
This position will be located in our DNV office in New Orleans LA office

- Marine Engineering
- Marine Transportation/Operations
- Marine Machinery
- Marine Technology
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Naval Architecture
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- We conduct preemployment drug and background screening
- Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job are as follows:climbing pilot ladders and vertical ladders of various heights entering and exiting tanks working in confined spaces performing pilot and boat transfers and working in harsh climates.
- Travel to and from survey sites and manufacturing plants aboard various marine vessels or structures is necessary. Some tasks may be performed in an office environment.
- The use of small tools and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with DNV safety procedures may also be required.
- Extreme weather (temperature and humidity) and environmental conditions may occur during standard surveyor work activities.
