The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy in South Boston Virginia as a Community Relations Coordinator and become a vital part of our team! Youll play a key role in recruitment and employee relations implementing HR best practices and fostering positive relationships within the organization. How Youll Make an Impact
Build and maintain relationships with community members.
Plan develop and organize events and volunteer activities to advance company goals.
Coordinate community outreach programs and special events to promote our mission.
Utilize social media to enhance community relations.
Draft and distribute content that highlights the company and its initiatives.
Select and disseminate positive publicity materials through various channels.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding of employees.
Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with corporate values.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
3 years of experience in community relations HR or a related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with event planning and volunteer coordination.
Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of corporate social responsibility practices.
