The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy in South Boston Virginia as a Community Relations Coordinator and become a vital part of our team! Youll play a key role in recruitment and employee relations implementing HR best practices and fostering positive relationships within the organization. How Youll Make an Impact

  • Build and maintain relationships with community members.

  • Plan develop and organize events and volunteer activities to advance company goals.

  • Coordinate community outreach programs and special events to promote our mission.

  • Utilize social media to enhance community relations.

  • Draft and distribute content that highlights the company and its initiatives.

  • Select and disseminate positive publicity materials through various channels.

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of employees.

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with corporate values.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.

  • 3 years of experience in community relations HR or a related role.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with event planning and volunteer coordination.

  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility practices.
