The Tech Licensing Business Development (TLBD) team is a global subjectmatter expert in licensing (software content/data etc. across Amazon. TLBD drives highquality licensing negotiations manages strategic partnerships contributes forwardlooking insights and surfaces innovations that enable Amazon to delight our customers in everevolving ways with a focus on Devices and Services and AGI.
The agreements and initiatives TLBD drives range from complex new technology license and support deals with unique and creative business models to basic agreements and amendments as our business needs expand. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating highly ambiguous environments and have 1/ experience working with technical products and teams and 2/ excellent negotiation communication and relationship building skills.
Key job responsibilities Lead crossfunctional efforts across Product Operations Engineering Legal Finance and senior management to negotiate licenses and drive strategic initiatives in support of multiple Amazon product teams Drive quarterly roadmap reviews with internal and external partner teams Manage executive and workinglevel relationships with key licensing partners Seek innovative ideas and technologies to further product team goals Drive processimprovements across the team This role in particular will be focused on Information licensing partnerships
5 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience Bachelors degree Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level Exceptional ability to communicate with and influence both technical and nontechnical audiences verbally and in writing
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
