Job Description
Position: Production Associate I UMS Secondary Operations
Shift: 2nd shift / 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Reports To: Team Lead/Supervisor/Manager of Secondary Operations
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of components into a finished product.
- Inspection and packaging of assembled parts.
- Accurately complete production orders provided by team leader.
- Report to team leader on any machine related issue.
- Monitor quality of components and report defective or noncompliant materials.
- Understand quality control and inspection process and requirements.
- Perform activities to establish quality specifications.
- Maintain production standards set forth by Management.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- All other duties assigned.
Skills:
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a Team environment.
- Ability to use hand and measurement tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience:
- Experience working in an industrial or warehouse environment.
- Be familiar with safety requirements associated to warehouse and/or industrial operations.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Represent UMS Manufacturing. in a professional positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters.
- Comply with occupational safety regulations.
- Work all shifts as required and oncall availability.
