As the PC/LAN Technician Senior you will provide county customers with excellent customer service experiences reliable communication accurate issue assessment and lasting resolutions that support the customers business processes. You will be responsible for proactive enduserfocused technical support of workstations laptops printers virtual desktops and other peripheral devices. You will also act as a subject matter expert for enduser computing experiences and provide comprehensive support for component systems and services.

We Require
Five years of technologyrelated experience including performing a combination of installing loading configuring microcomputer hardware and software detecting/resolving computer and printer problems
High school diploma or GED
A combination of postsecondary education and/or jobrelated experience may substitute for the required experience on a yearforyear basis
We Also Value
Associates degree in Computer Science or an ITrelated field
Seven years of experience in desktop support in an enterprise PC environment
Experience with Windows 11 Microsoft O365 Image creation
Experience with user and device management in Microsoft Active Directory
Endpoint solution experience
CompTIA A and/or Server certification or ITIL Foundations
PowerShell Tanium SCCM Workspace One or Intune experience
Job Contributions
Configure and Maintain End User Computer Systems
Installs configures and maintains hardware and software applications for desktops and laptop fleet computer systems and peripheral equipment.
Participates in scaled departmental technology refreshes
Maintains accurate inventories of hardware devices and software
Assists with equipment moves along with unloading of new equipment and disposal of old equipment to salvage vendor
Customer Service
Meets customer demands prioritizes workloads coordinates activities and ensures that activities comply with industry best practices and Maricopa County standards IT Service Management (ITSM)
Manages service ticket queues and resolves daily hardware and software support incidents and requests in a timely and professional manner
Serves as subject matter expert and/or toptier (onsite) support
Serves as subject matter expert and/or toptier (onsite) support
Research and monitors industry trends technologies and standards and can present proactive suggestions to supervisory or management level staff.
Communication
Works closely with other groups to coordinate plans and activities to facilitate specific business outcomes. Identifies potential service level problems before they occur.
Maintains a high level of communication with customers with respect to scheduling support call followup and confirmation of resolution.
Working Conditions
Exerting up to 40 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time
Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
