We are seeking a motivated and proactive sales professional with exceptional communication skills a strong work ethic and the ability to cultivate partnerships across the armed forces Veterans Administration Bureau of Prisons and Indian Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business sales & manage profitability.
- Identify opportunities for customer adoption of innovative products.
- Develop & nurture relationships within assigned government accounts.
- Attend events to support government relations.
- Educate teams on government policies sales processes & strategies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategize & execute sales plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Prospect new & existing Federal business collaborating with Inside Government Team.
- Understand government customer operations to provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure premium service delivery to assigned government customers.
- Build & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Update & maintain company CRM database.
- Collaborate with field sales teams targeting the federal healthcare market.
- Coordinate with distributor sales representatives especially with minorityowned entities.
- Monitor competitor activities & product offerings.
- Showcase expertise in complex solutionbased sales.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of CRM Power Point SharePoint Spreadsheet (Excel) and Word Processing software.
- Develop & execute a strategic sales strategy to achieve territory growth objectives leveraging sources such as assigned territory marketing leads & prospect lists.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience in sales within the federal government market preferred.
- Specialty skill certifications are considered in lieu of sales experience
- Data analysis proficiency for trend identification.
- Expertise in strategic & productbased sales.
- Proficiency in CRM PowerPoint SharePoint Excel & Word.
- Capability to work both independently & collaboratively.
- Specialty skill certifications considered an advantage.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely & successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal state & local standards including meeting qualitative &/or quantitative standards.
- Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance.
- Must be able to lift & carry up to >50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk listen & speak clearly.
- Travel required for this position is 75.
