Job Description

Do you want to support Amazons mission to build the worlds safest most efficient and sustainable delivery network by helping our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) retain safe satisfied and engaged teams of drivers We are looking for a Senior Communication Manager DSP Experience that works to support 2500 DSPs who employ 175000 Delivery Associates (DAs) operating Primebranded vehicles on road delivering tens of millions of packages per week through our Last Mile delivery network. Specifically this candidate will work across multiple stakeholders to bring to life all the ways that Amazon is investing in routing and technology that impacts a drivers workday on road. You will thrive in ambiguity to translate technical and operational information into userfriendly resources and rich content to make it convenient for DSPs to manage their business. It will be critical to work across crossfunctional teams of leaders partner organizations and stakeholder to ensure that we are launching programs through robust communication change management strategies and yearlong campaign efforts.

The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator with strategic communications and/or marketing communications experience business acumen and excellent writing ability. Not only will you need to help strategize on plans youll need to help program manage them from ideation to to keep things on track. You will be a thought leader who indexes high on emotional intelligence. Youll have to be comfortable with testing learning and even failing forward. Our environment is fastpaced and requires a candidate who isnt afraid to innovate and propose disruptive ideas.

This role can be based in Nashville TN or Seattle/Bellevue WA.

Key job responsibilities
Develop a multichannel strategy including written communications executive messaging and video content
Translate complex messaging into simple and easytounderstand content to help launch new programs and products
Interview DSPs and DAs and build advocacy stories
Identify emerging topics and develop proactive plans with stakeholders
Drive creative communication campaigns to both solve business needs and instill passion among the DSP community
Partner with stakeholders to ingest customer listening data and use it to inform a communication strategy
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications
Partner with agencies and internal creative teams to develop compelling visual content
Identify emerging topics and develop proactive plans with stakeholders
Look around corners to identify key moments in time around which to build campaigns that meet DSPs and DAs where they are in their journey
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications and campaigns and report out on them to leaders

A day in the life
We write a lot and are right a lot! We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview DSPs and DAs to build compelling spotlight and advocacy stories. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP Owners including the Communication Center Email and SMS. We communicate to DAs through the DA InApp News Feed built within their Amazon Delivery App.

About the team
The Americas DSP Communications team is made up of 15 high performing leaders. Even though we are based in different cities across the U.S. Canada and LATAM we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. We approach each other with respect and humility and have fun every day by answering Questions of the Day (QOTD) in Slack to stay connected across multiple locations sharing memes and hosting interactive team building events. DSPs & DAs count on us to provide helpful and trustworthy information so they can operate their business efficiently and focus on what matters most to them i.e. building a safetyfirst culture developing their team and delivering millions of smiles in their communities.

8 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field

Experience developing complex and strategic communications that educate large audiences
Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to help others do the same
Experience managing both internal and agency partners as part of a holistic gotomarket strategy
Highly developed and polished written communication skills
Experience working autonomously to develop and propose strategies for improvements
Strong project management skills and experience including managing internal stakeholders and multiple projects at once
Attention to detail particularly when it comes to proofing copy and content
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
