PDPT 60400 Neuromuscular Foundations (NMF) Lab Assistant
Purpose of the job:
The TA will host open labs based on their availability to review lab tests and measures and answer questions from students. TAs will be welcomed into labs each week anytime it fits into their schedules but is not required. It is helpful to have them present on patient lab days if available.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Grad Year II student who has a love for neuro who received a B or better in NMF. The TA should be able to share their knowledge with students during open labs and lab activities.

PDPT 60200 Neuroscience

Purpose of the job:
Assisting course coordinator and faculty instructor(s) with neuroscience course especially with neuroanatomy labs. That includes: 1 assisting with previewing/reviewing of lab material and assignments 2 working with small groups to answer questions during labs 3 supervising open labs 4 cleaning lab space and tools 5 maintaining neuroanatomic specimens and models 6 assisting with setting up proctoring and grading lab practical exams 7 and helping with supplementary lab modules (virtual reality 3D printing Anatomage table etc. as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
DPT III student in good academic standing who shows effective verbal communication skills punctuality proactivity and initiative selfmotivation and strong interest in helping students learn about neuroscience and neuroanatomy.
Course Needs:
Two TAs for each lab section (Sections 2 3 and 4.
Each TA up to 3 hours per week lab 2hr) open lab lab prep other tasks; workload per week may fluctuate (i.e. less hours in less busy weeks more hours in practical exam weeks)

Applied Biomechanics PTBS 50400

Purpose of the job:
The TA will host open labs based on their availability to review lab tests and measures and answer questions from students. TA should plan to attend one lab to assist with questions and ensure they are up to date on that weeks content.
Requirements/Qualifications:
DPT 2 student with an appreciation for Biomechanics/Kinesiology who received a B or better in Applied Biomechanics. Thew TA should also have a good knowledge of surface anatomy palpation.
Course Needs:
1 TA Open labs (Flexible)

PDPT 60300 MSK II: Spine Examination and Rehabilitation

Purpose of the job:
Assist in Musculoskeletal II: Spine Examination & Rehabilitation labs demonstrate techniques answer student questions participate in practical exams and independently supervise one open lab per week.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Grad Year II student with a passion for the management of spinal conditions and clinical reasoning who received a B or better in the Spine Examination & Rehabilitation course and is in good academic standing. The student should be highly motivated professional and possess exceptional verbal communication skills. Students will serve in one lab session and independently supervise one open lab session per week

Peds Rehab

Purpose of the job: Assist with coordinating and transporting pediatric equipment from OT department and vender prior to pediatric equipment lab. Hold open labs the last 3 weeks of the semester.
Requirements/Qualifications: Student in good academic standing any cohort
Course Needs:
Assistance prior to pediatric equipment lab with transporting equipment to/from venders vehicle to lab storage room and from OT department.
Run open labs around available times for DPT III students 2x/week for 2 hours last 3 weeks of the semester.
PTBS 50300 Soft Tissue Examination & Intervention Lab Assistant
Fall 2025
Requirements/Qualifications:
Graduate students with a passion for manual therapy who received a B or better in the soft tissue and peripheral joint mobilization courses. Student should be highly motivated professional and possess exceptional verbal communication skills.
Purpose of the Job:
Assist in soft tissue labs demonstrate techniques answer student questions participate in oral/practical exams and independently supervise one open lab per week (TUE WED THU or SUN)
