Job Description
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. AFT builds and operates software hardware and the processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move billions of units of inventory employ tens of thousands of people and ensure that customers get what they want when promised. We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well while relying on people to handle things that humans do well.
Amazon Bulk Services (ABS) is a new program established with the vision of providing Amazon customers with the most compelling bulk selection across varying packaging levels (multipack/innerpack casepack and pallet) at competitive prices in the most costeffective and sellingpartnerfriendly way free of defects. The ABS 2025 goals aim to establish technological and operational readiness for handling multipacks. The objective is to fulfill multiple pack sizes of the same product from the same building with no increase in defects.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr Business Intelligence Engineer of the Amazon Bulk Services program you will be challenged with building and driving analytics to deliver Amazon customers with the most compelling bulk selections. You will be responsible for identify gaps in delivering this vision across the e2e supply chain using a datadriven approach. You will need to bring value insights into ambiguous business problems and lead datadriven decision making within the org as well as with stakeholders. You will be empowered to think big invent on behalf of our customers make judgment calls and find solutions to hard problems. The world is changing fast and this is a dynamic role where you will be able to learn as much as you contribute.

We invent and deliver software hardware and data science solutions that orchestrate processes robots machines and people. We harmonize the physical and virtual world so Amazon customers can get what they want when they want it.
Inventory
AFTs Inventory team delivers complex innovative scalable solutions to manage the endtoend lifecycle of all physical goods across the Amazon fulfillment network ensuring both inventory record accuracy and safe inventory handling for billions of items.
5 years of SQL experience
5 years of professional or military experience
Experience programming to extract transform and clean large (multiTB) data sets
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval data science machine learning and data mining
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
