We are currently looking for an Accounting & Logistics Coordinator based in Jordan to join our Operations and Finance Team.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person who can support our growth ambitions and add knowledge competence and team spirit.
You will report to the Chief Accountant MENA based in Amman and work closely with the other Departments.
Your key responsibilities
Finance Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all journal entries for the MENA region on the accounting system following their initial input as purchase order (P.O) entries.
- Ensure accurate document management including the reception classification posting and validation of accounting invoices and payments.
- Execute general ledger transactions in line with statutory requirements and Group accounting policies.
- Maintain organized and compliant accounting control documents adhering to internal procedures and financial legal standards.
- Create and update supplier master data in accordance with Group policies and data integrity standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy of reported data.
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing activities ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording.
- Compile and prepare financial reports for internal and external audit reviews; liaise with auditors as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of routine accounting transactions for audit readiness and compliance.
Operations Responsibilities:
- Communicate with agents to collect monthly sales reports and other required documentation.
- Input inmarket sales data and conduct periodic stock reviews to support operational accuracy.
- Coordinate the dispatch of invoices and shipping documents to regional agents.
- Monitor and follow up on the weekly shipment tracker ensuring alignment with the shipping plan.
- Sign and file credit notes issued as commercial gestures upon approval from Bashar/Asma.
- Conduct shipment followups by liaising with agents to confirm receipt of goods.
- Prepare and send shipment reference requests to obtain transportation quotations.
We are looking for
- Degree in Accounting Business Management Economics Industrial Engineering or related areas.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting services or related industry
- Solid Accounting knowledge
- Good Excel skills
- Experience with SAGE X3 is a plus.
- Knowledge of Jordans tax law is a plus.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Problemsolving mindset and analytical skills
