Job Description
Amazons Ship Tech (STS) team is responsible for key technology that enables planning orchestration and of transportation service to deliver billions of packages to customers globally. Our goal is to ensure the best delivery experience for customers across all geographies through a highly scalable adaptive and autonomous transportation network.
We are looking for a product leader to be a part of our multiyear effort to build the next generation of transportation planning and intelligence products. They will own critical Amazon services that leverage realtime insights and predictive supply chain data across our entire network to drive automation efficiency and visibility. These services allow us to identify problems that could impact ontime delivery take proactive actions to mitigate network and package level problems and keep customers informed on what is happening.
The ideal candidate is capable of breaking down and solving complex problems and has a strong will to get things done! You will work on real world problems on a global scale. You own your products endtoend and influence the direction of our product and technology which impacts hundredsofmillions of customers around the world. You are a handson pragmatic problem solver that easily balances tradeoffs between competing interests. You thrive in a fastmoving team environment where you are able to juggle complex dependencies and requirements while producing optimal solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert in transportation and logistics control towers and workflow automation leveraging your deep domain knowledge to identify market trends customer pain points and opportunities for product enhancement
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering design and customer success to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive the successful implementation of new product features and enhancements
Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the companys overall strategic objectives and effectively communicates it to stakeholders
Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback market intelligence and industry insights to inform product decisions and ensure the delivery of highvalue solutions
Champion a usercentric design approach working closely with Operational Business and UX team to optimize the user experience and drive product adoption
Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch ensuring that milestones are met risks are mitigated and the product is delivered on time and within budget
Represent the product and the company at industry events conferences and customer meetings to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships
8 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred
Extensive knowledge of transportation and logistics concepts control tower technologies and workflow automation solutions
Proficient in interpreting and translating complex technical requirements into userfriendly products
Excellent problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
Passion for innovation and a commitment to driving the companys growth through the development of industryleading products
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
4 years experience in Supply Chain Transportation Logistics operations
8 years of experience delivering successful Transportation and Logistics products specifically in transportation planning and

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
