Radiological Technologist
Interventional pain practice in West Jordan Utah is hiring a Radiological Technologist to join our Procedure Team.
Fulltime or parttime option available. All shifts are during regular business hours. No nights weekends or holidays required! Flexible schedule options available.
This position is open to entry level and new grads. Onthejob training will be provided. Will be working with three Interventional Pain Medicine physicians and RNs to provide exceptional care to our patients receiving fluoroscopyguided spinal injections nerve blocks joint injections and more.

Education and Experience:
Current ARRT Registration
State of Utah Radiological Technologist license
Limited License Radiology Practical Technician
Will consider applicants nearing completion of an accredited program
Required Experience
None On the job training provided
Job Duties:
Assist physicians in radiological imaging of the spine.
Demonstrates knowledgeable operation of Carm Autoclave and Radiofrequency Ablation equipment.
Provide appropriate tray setups and perform scrub procedures utilizing a thorough knowledge of sterile technique
Demonstrates proper practices for reducing radiation dose to staff and patients.
Maintains adequate inventory and stocking of procedural supplies.
Performs documentation and preparation of patient information pertinent to Procedure Scheduling including knowledge of contraindicated medications anticoagulants and possible allergies.
Provides patient education as needed and assures patient comfort.
Assist in maintaining order and cleanliness of procedure work areas.
Collaborate with procedure staff. ie. physicians nurses etc.
Physical Requirements
Help position patients for procedures.
Retrieve lift and carry supplies.
May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care accessing needed information medication preparation.
