Job Description
We are looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst who thrives on connecting insights across teams and driving datainformed decisionmaking. This role is ideal for someone who brings 26 years of experience in analytics has deep technical expertise and excels at turning data into actionable business narratives. As a crossfunctional influencer you will play a key role in shaping strategy and helping teams elevate their data acumen.
Data Storytelling & Insights
- Craft compelling narratives and proactive insights that influence prioritization and strategy.
- Deliver executiveready reports dashboards and presentations with minimal direction.
Domain Expertise
- Become the goto expert in a specific area of the business understanding it better than anyone else.
- Define and manage KPIs that align with business goals and performance.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Serve as a key resource across teams providing strategic guidance and analysis.
- Act as a consultant for crossteam initiatives leveraging your influence to drive impact.
Technical Excellence
- Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop and maintain robust data queries and pipelines.
- Build highquality reports and visualizations using industrystandard tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker etc..
- Raise the bar for analytical quality ensuring team deliverables are accurate scalable and insightful.
Operational Leadership
- Monitor and adjust work queues based on team priorities.
- Identify and communicate project risks early.
- Unblock team members and proactively manage project lifecycles from ideation to delivery.
Training & Mentorship
- Lead SQL and data literacy training for new team members.
- Educate internal teams on how to interpret and explore data products effectively.
- Propose and implement improvements to Analytics team tools and best practices.
Communication & Influence
- Translate complex data into insights that are easy to understand at all levels of the organization.
- Influence strategic decisionmaking through data and storytelling.
- Experience: 26 years in business intelligence data analytics or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced SQL required; strong experience with BI/reporting tools.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and how data drives decisionmaking.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor others and lead data projects endtoend.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fastpaced crossfunctional environment.
- Previous leadership or mentorship within an Analytics or BI team.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery) is a plus.
