Job Description
J.H. Fletcher & Co. a worldwide manufacturer of large mobile equipment has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Intern in the Risk Management Department at our Huntington WV facility. This internship provides handson experience across multiple functional areas of Risk Management including Human Resources Occupational Health and Safety Product Liability/Legal and Environmental Compliancewith a primary focus on Human Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Legal Studies or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized detailoriented and able to manage multiple tasks
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and traverse the manufacturing plant
Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen
Preferred:
Previous internship or administrative experience
Interest in or coursework related to occupational health and safety or legal compliance
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general assistance with various aspects of employment
Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports (OSHA EPA EEO etc.
Support filing recordkeeping and other administrative tasks
Participate in product liability discovery
Draft documents and internal communications
Communicate with employees to help resolve Risk Management issues
Take notes during internal meetings
Perform other duties as assigned

Location: 402 High Street Huntington WV 25705
Schedule: Parttime or Fulltime (flexible based on class schedule)
Status: Internship
