Role:
This is a Certified Law Enforcement position for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police. This position will serve as a Law Enforcement Officer on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation to include the Prairie Band Casino and Resort gaming facility. A community Resource Officer (CRO) serves the community not only as a certified Law Enforcement officer but as a liaison between the police department and citizens it serves.
To qualify for this position applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum Requirements:
Driving: Must have a valid Kansas drivers license free of occupational restrictions and must be insurable with the Nations
insurance.
Experience: 12 years of law enforcement experience or its military equivalent with general arrest authority.
Education: HS Diploma/GED and Completion of KS Law Enforcement Basic Training Academy or an equivalent federal or state approved academy and to certify as a KS law enforcement officer within 1 year of employment.
