Boeing Finance Shared Services (FSS) is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to join our Finance Analysis Defense Team in Ridley Park PA. In this role youll dive into innovative solutions support vital financial operations and play a key role in shaping impactful business decisions.

The Financial Analysis Defense Team supports essential functions such as Compliance of Financial Policies Processes Procedures Systems and Tools. Primary responsibilities include supporting direct labor cost management for production programs including budgeting earned value management developing estimates to complete (ETCs) and estimates at completion (EACs) and cost reporting.

This analyst will be working across functions including Program Finance Engineering Program Management Control Account Managers and other shared service partners to integrate the data and report up and outward.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collect compile manipulate and document source data to support analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) at the contract functional or overhead pool level using advanced Excel functions
• Assist in developing and maintaining cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines including Earned Value Management (EVM) to ensure accurate tracking forecasting and reporting
• Run weekly/monthly performance reports to provide insights into project progress and identify potential areas of improvement or concern
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data and assist in preparing variance analyses to identify deviations from planned target values
• Review financial data analyzing patterns and trends to make predictions and recommendations
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to cost and performance measurement to enhance the effectiveness of analysis and reporting
• Ensure compliance with applicable Boeing and governmental regulations concerning financial policies procedures processes systems and tools
• Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Currently have a Bachelors degree or higher
• 1 years of experience with Estimates at Completion Data Analysis and/or Budgeting/Cost Performance Reporting
• Experience in a Finance related position such as Financial Operations Cost Management Estimating Financial Planning Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
• Experience building positive relationships working across functions and collaborating effectively
• Strong professional communication skills both verbal and written in virtual and inperson settings
• Experience with financial analysis financial modeling financial or resource forecasts and/or assessment of associated risks and opportunities
• Experience working with large data sets (e.g. advanced Excel Power Pivot Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)
• Experience using strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and inperson including ability to explain why
• Adaptability to rapid changing environments and ability to meet deliverables
• Experienced change agent; ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders
