Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Work independently or in team to pick and pack
- Safety relocate or repack inventory items as directed up to 50lbs in weight
- Operate machinery or other light equipment as trained in safety and responsible manner
- Comfortable to working in an environment where there are forklifts and other standard equipment
- Order puller logs into warehouse system and place pallets in the proper location.
- Fills customer orders
- Checks part numbers cleans and packs inventory items
- Inspects inventory for defects scratches or other damage. Remedies and corrects deficiencies within scope and notifies appropriate personnel for issues requiring escalated attention. Notifies Warehouse Supervisor of problems.
- Follows all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment.
- Process package and orders accurately
- Reports any customer problems or concerns immediately.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Consistently displays integrity responsibility accountability teamwork and ethics.
- Performs assigned job duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies procedures and standard practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
One 1 years of experience working in a warehouse setting and in operating warehouse equipment and machines including without limitation a forklift; Or
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Working Environment & Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent lifting and/or moving objects of up to 50 pounds. The working environment consists of exposure to a nonclimatecontrolled warehouse environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequent operation of heavy machinery including but not limited to a forklift.
