Program Manager AUSA Gifts & Chapter Support
The Program Manager AUSA Gifts and Chapter Support provides both programmatic and administrative support to two major functions in the Membership department AUSA Gifts and Donations and AUSA Chapter Support. Position also provides administrative support as necessary to the Vice President of Membership and Meetings.
Position reports to the Deputy Director of Membership and will have extensive collaboration with the entire AUSA team.
- Position requires a bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 35 years experience in program management development/donor programs membership support or other relevant area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a wide range of projects adeptly.
- Ability to travel as required.

AUSA GIVING DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors
- Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities including individual donations company donations and grants
- Assist with the development of donor recognition programs and ensure effective communication with donors regarding the impact of their contributions
- Conduct market research to identify trends in philanthropy and donor interests
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission and programs
- Manage reporting requirements for funded grants and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with departments to align fundraising efforts with organizational needs and to promote fundraising initiatives
- Analyze and report on fundraising activities and financial performance
- Provide training and support to staff and volunteers involved in fundraising activities
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance fundraising skills
- Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance fundraising efforts including social media and online donation platforms
- Other duties as assigned
CHAPTER SUPPORT DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- General administrative support to include answering telephones tracking orders navigating the association management system preparing trip books responding to inquiries fulfilling chapter supply orders and other tasks to help the department run smoothly
- Handle any customer service problems or requests from Membership Support Center and volunteer leaders
- Provide administrative support to the Vice President Membership & Meetings to include scheduling meetings booking travel submitting travel receipts
- Assist with membership signup efforts and information during AUSA events to include full knowledge of AUSA services and savings benefits
- Track messages and fulfill requests between membership and volunteer leaders
- Promotional item inventory management to include coordination with mail center storage support and entry into digital inventory management system
- Coordinate with Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) schools and chapters on award programs
- Prepare and assemble training materials for inperson volunteer training semiannually
- Track and manage event ticketing platform and registration for yearly conference
- Verify computations and receipts on vouchers are correct and accurate for reimbursement
