Join Our Team at Vino Volo: Assistant Manager Position Available
Overview Vino Volo a thriving entity of Paradies Lagardre invites you to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional wine experiences to our customers in an engaging airport setting. Your leadership will not only manage the restaurants operations but also foster unique customer connections.
What Youll Do
- Lead and motivate a team to elevate customer experiences in our vibrant airport venue.
- Drive sales in wine food and merchandise balancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Train and nurture staff in delivering Vino Volos exceptional service standards.
- Liaise across various management levels to ensure topquality customer experiences.
- Promote a safe and respectful work environment adhering to Ontarios workplace safety and harassment prevention regulations.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum two years of college education; fouryear degree preferred.
- 24 years experience in management or as a wine sommelier in a reputable fullservice restaurant wine bar or winery tasting room.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Wine knowledge is advantageous.
- Proficiency in retail POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old (legal drinking age in Ontario).
- Able to pass required background checks.
- Flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent as per Ontario regulations.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
