Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage and recruit volunteers effectively
- Experience in public speaking and community outreach
- Availability for evening and weekend activities as required
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently in the field
- Proficiency in organizing and hosting events
- Knowledge of local community organizations and groups
- Valid Drivers License (required)
Responsibilities:
- Introduce volunteers to patients
- Conduct one speaking engagement per week
- Achieve 3540 community touch points per week at various organizations (churches synagogues senior centers rotary clubs civic groups Elks Club colleges VFWs assisted living facilities and other community organizations)
- Post flyers and distribute recruitment materials
- Attend job fairs and host volunteer recruitment events
- Ensure 20 volunteer applications are completed per month for the assigned territory
- Convert at least 10 of applications into active volunteers
- Spend the majority of time in the community rather than in the office
