Role:
As a developer analyst you will work with a group of talented stakeholders developers and quality assurance analysts in a highly collaborative and teamoriented environment to support technology solutions for Blackstone.
The ServiceNow teams mandate is to provide technology service asset HR and software management solutions & automations to variety of teams in and outside of the technology group using the ServiceNow platform. You will strive to develop solutions that are enduring and require no maintenance and support and will be required to provide daily support as needed.
You will be expected to create stories design and present solutions to the architects and the development team presenting your solutions during code reviews where you will take feedback and implement changes. You will also provide constructive feedback during code reviews to others on the team.
Additionally you will be expected to provide verbal status updates during daily scrum meetings where you can identify issues that are preventing you from moving forward including and not limited to any incomplete requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business objectives underlying each development initiative.
Collaborate with the broader team to find acceptable solutions to problems.
Proactively conduct investigations into issues proposing actionable solutions and enhancements based on findings.
Take responsibility for creating user stories accurately estimating their scope and executing the development of assigned stories.
Work closely with business analysts to identify and address any discrepancies or gaps in project requirements.
Identify when requirements may need to be adjusted due to technical limitations.
Acquire a thorough understanding of the business domains relevant to your projects as well as the specific software solutions and integrations to ensure proficient diagnosis and resolution of user issues.
Diligently manage and update the status of support tickets to comply with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards.
Qualifications:
Experience with ServiceNow development is preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript SQL and Web services is essential.
The candidate should be a meticulous problem solver who can dissect complex issues identify critical elements and devise both corrective and enhancement strategies.
A strong processoriented approach is necessary to comprehend and scrutinize the entire current state process with the aim of recognizing how a proposed solution can enhance existing procedures.
Must possess the ability to collect and interpret data pertinent to the issue integrating this analysis into recommendations for systemic or procedural enhancements.
Excellent communication skills are required for effective interaction and collaboration with various stakeholders and ServiceNow team members ensuring clear conveyance of both technical and nontechnical information through oral and written means.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.

Expected annual base salary range:
$64000 $135000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individuals experience skills qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
