Our manufacturing logistics and supply team ensures that customers and patients receive the medicines they need precisely when they need them. This role will lead our critical Support departments such as Receiving Inventory Training Digital Serialization and Continuous Improvement and Procurement so that our Fulfillment teams are successful.
In this role you will:
Provide guidance and lead/colead moderately complex projects managing time and resources effectively and apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to departmental work.
Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems develop new options guided by policies in nonstandard situations and operate independently in ambiguous situations.
Work independently receive instruction on unusual or complex problems determine objectives of assignments and generally review your own work while seeking directional review from others.
Exercise judgment utilizing knowledge and experience potentially becoming a resource for others and ensure timely delivery of products that meet stringent quality standards aligning with marketing and financial goals.
Drive the and ongoing enhancement of standardized logistics processes and systems to fulfill customer needs forecast resource requirements and identify opportunities for improvement in logisticsrelated products processes or services.
Foster collaboration and agreements among diverse teams develop and analyze metrics to monitor operational performance against stated goals for logistics responsibilities and contribute to global crossfunctional continuous improvement strategies.
Ensure timely availability of materials to support production campaigns with tolling partners oversee the deployment of controlled temperature shipping technologies and populate select monthly mandate dashboards.
Obtain crossfunctional requirements for the development of new product launch strategies enhance quality and compliance on a site and patient basis utilizing risk and mitigation plans and support decisionmaking on country feasibility and study strategy.
Analyze and compare information from multiple sources to identify cause and effect relationships supporting Corrective Action/Preventative Action investigations and lead meetings with forwarders and quality to resolve logistics incidents.
Design develop and deliver training programs and documentation acting as the link between external logistics operations and internal operations.
BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associates degree with at least 8 years of experience or high School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
Significant experience in logistics management within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
Proficiency in system validation and the software development lifecycle
Expertlevel knowledge of System Application and Products APO
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and analyze metrics
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and Outlook
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Advanced training in project management supply chain management scientific or clinical disciplines business administration and/or people development
Ability to drive results with stakeholders at varying levels
Experience in leading global crossfunctional continuous improvement strategies
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires oncall availability to address support functions for the site. This includes evenings and weekends on a routine basis. Some lifting of up to 40 lbs. may be required on occasion. Physically able to walk 450000 facility and exterior of building.
NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Overtime hours are required as needed. Position requires oncall availability to address support functions for the site. This includes evenings and weekends on a routine basis. Travel for meetings and training as required.
