The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Production Control Specialist to join our team in cell location 8595 Turbine Disk Cell.
The Production Control Specialist will perform production control work as directed by Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader.
Additionally the Production Control Specialist will:
1. Review MRP release requirements i.e. Planned Shop Requisitions.
2. Review material availability for Shop Requisitions to be released.
3. Creates releases reserves issues and receives Shop Orders (Manufacturing and Repair).
4. Creates releases reserves picks delivers and receives Material Transfer Requisitions.
5. Process miscellaneous material transactions including s cycle counts adjustments etc.
6. Physically manages all material movement and disposition related to cell activity.
High School or GED required and a minimum of6 months experience in scheduling computer skills hardware management etc. Effective interaction with team members customers and all levels of management. Reads understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings.
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist. (Note must use a lift assist or assistance from other individual(s) when lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
