We are looking for a Senior Technology Systems Design Consultant to join our growing company.

The Senior Technology Systems Design Consultant reports to the Senior Manager with extensive experience in our Angus Connect Division and works with several team members who have a strong base of knowledge and industry experience.

Responsibilities include:
- Recognized technical subject matter expert within the organization with multiple years of experience.
Good general knowledge in numerous ICAT systems (AV/Telecom/Security for example) with 1 or 2 specialty areas.
Can lead technical components of mediumsized independent projects or be the main technical contributor on larger projects.
Responsible for the technical design for complex projects often involving multiple drawings technical complexity high project value and multiple
trades.
Assesses design constructability and develops design specification for complex designs.
Participates in project planning and project management meetings and provides improvement recommendations to ensure project deliverables
and timelines are met.
Actively involved in maintaining client relations which includes managing risks fees and financials along with change orders etc.
Reviews and signs off on complex CAD/REVIT reports and standards.
Accountable for all designs through to construction completion
Maintains technical accuracy of all project files and documentation.
Demonstrates experience working with consultants and contractors and coordinating of mediumsized projects.
Other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- 4 years engineering consulting experience an asset
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Forward thinking eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Good accuracy and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams including multidisciplinary teams
- Passionate about the application of digital technology in complex facilities and the built environment
