The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation organization is seeking a Systems Operator to join our team in Seattle WA. Primary responsibility will be to conduct initial and followon production flights and customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured 737 airplanes in Seattle. Successful candidates can expect travel and flights domestically and internationally in support of the production system as well as postproduction activity via CFR 91 & 125.
This role will require travel 25 of the time.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including MidLevel or Senior Systems Operators.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs systems checks on the ground and inflight for production acceptance
Supports flights to include: functional test flights Customer Demonstration flights Production acceptance flights etc.
Researches and confirms airplane configuration and status
Prepares and maintains aircraft flight test procedures
Demonstrates to the customer that aircraft meets production standards prior to delivery
Performs duties as a flight crew member
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience with aviation or aviation related activities
Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one
1 years of experience in aircraft systems integration and operations
Capable of travel 25 of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous flight engineer or systems operator experience
1 years of Aircrew experience
Bachelors degree in a technical field
AMT Airframe and Power plant license
FAA Commercial Pilot license
FAA or military Flight Engineer
Flight Test experience
Boeing commercial airplane experience

Shift:
This position is primarily 1st shift; however variable shifts including day evening nights and weekends may be required to support program objectives.
