Job Description
Nexstar Media Group and NewsNation is seeking a Creative Producer intern for Summer 2025. Youll be hands on and learn how to produce highend national television promos for NewsNation. The paid internships will run from approximately June 2nd August 15th 2025.
This is your opportunity to be a part of a growing national television news network. Experience the process of television promotion from writing to the final edit. You will be side by side with some of the biggest television professionals and have your work seen on television and streaming platforms. This internship is onsite in our downtown Chicago offices 20 hours a week.
Entrylevel Video editing skills required
Experience in writing scripts
Beginner to intermediate (or higher) in Adobe After Effects Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
Must be comfortable with a fastpaced working environment.
Must be comfortable working solo or with others in a collaborative team environment.
Must provide a link to an online video portfolio including writing examples and references
Qualifications/Requirements
Must be pursuing an Associates Bachelors or Masters degree at an accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
Current class standing of sophomore or above
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
The ability to work at NewsNation headquarters in Chicago
Salary Range: $16.20/hr
