Mathnasium of Converse is looking for an exceptional Math Instructor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. This is a parttime role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional instruction services to students
- Positively interact with parents
- Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
- Teach incenter online (only after 6 months of incenter instruction) and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method terminology and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students progress throughout instructional sessions and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best instruction
Qualifications:
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2
- A passion for math and working with students

We have been open for almost six years and have a great team of instructors (mostly high school and college). We typically employ 1014 instructors so we are pretty small. This job looks great on your resume because of the focus on helping students. We also have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Compensation: $13.00 $15.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
