You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient centered 80 32 hours a week) Medical Assistant II (MA II)to work at ourUICC RiverCrossing Clinic.This position will mainly support our Family Medicine Clinics but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations including but not limited to: Pediatrics and/or Specialty/Outreach Clinics.
For nearly 50 years the health and wellness of our patients has been our primary focus. We see patients for pregnancy care baby wellness vaccinations school and athletic physicals acute care visits annual physicals regular checkups mental health onsite laboratory services and more. Our team develop relationships and get to know our patients and monitor patient care history and deliver personalized compassionate care every time to each patient. That specialist will consult the same medical record your family medicine provider has been keeping for you so your specialty care is streamlined.

Summary:
Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner) RN (registered nurse) NM/ANM (nurse manager/assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical patient care and related clerical functions in the urgent care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.

Schedule: Tuesday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Every other Wednesday 11:30 AM 8:30 PM to accommodate the evening clinic lab with the alternating Wednesdays being from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Thursday 8:00 AM 3:00 PM. Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. No Mondays weekends holidays or on call time required.
Location: Riverside IA (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)
Pay Grade: 9
$40110.48 $59570.64 (at 100 time)/ Hourly: $19.21 $28.53 (based on years of experience)
