Our team is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to manage large cross functional programs and projects that support Last Mile delivery. In this role you will be responsible for delivering complex projects endtoend keeping Amazons scale and quality in mind. LMT is a large serviceoriented architecture with thousands of components that work together to provide a single application experience. TPMs drive change at Amazon as a Principal TPM in LMT you will drive the architecture of our nextgeneration platform capable of delivering billions of packages to our customers. You will drive the design and build functions for this new platform and help ensure the platform is designed to minimize operational burden and the costs of future change. You will also anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. There are very few opportunities to design a system that operates at Amazon scale and throughput so this is a highly visible position that will have a material impact on Amazon transportation for decades to come.
Basic qualifications
* 10 years of engineering experience
* 7 years of technical product or program management experience
* 5 years of software development experience
* Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

* 8 years of handson work managing complex technology projects experience
* Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
