The Senior Manager Loss Prevention & Security is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees and merchandise at our Distribution Center in McDonough GA. This includes the development implementation and of security procedures that safeguard the companys assets and reduce the opportunity for shrink. As an experienced proactive leader with strong communication skills and attention to detail you enjoy leading a team of Loss Prevention & Security team members to identify and prevent security risks theft fraud and other losses while ensuring a high commitment to compliance with security procedures.

Loss Prevention & Security Management
Help develop and implement comprehensive security and loss prevention strategies tailored to the distribution centers unique needs and operations.
Manage daily operations leveraging team to ensure issues/incidents are resolved in a timely manner as they arise.
Regularly conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities potential threats and areas for improvement; escalating identified vulnerabilities with potential solutions to leadership.
Oversee investigations of theft vandalism fraud and other incidents including collaborating with law enforcement as needed and ensuring timely resolution of securityrelated issues.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to prevent theft fraud and damage to inventory and assets aligned with company policies.
Manage the deployment and maintenance of security systems including surveillance cameras access control systems and alarm systems.
Stay informed about emerging technologies to enhance security and share knowledge with leadership team for consideration.
Work within budgetary limits for labor planning and security and Loss Prevention needs.
Work with Talent corporate and DC leadership teams as needed to implement training programs for all staff to ensure awareness of security and loss prevention procedures emergency protocols and legal compliance.
Work closely with other departments including operations talent and management to ensure alignment on security objectives and integrate loss prevention strategies into business operations.
Provide regular reports to senior management on security metrics incident analysis and loss prevention performance; using datadriven insights to improve security operations.
Be available as needed for security related issues that require building access or an alarm response.
Support ad hoc needs and strategic initiatives as requested
People Management & Leadership
Manage lead and train the Loss Prevention & Security team ensuring effective scheduling training and performance management while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure team is aware of and trained to meet expectations of the Loss Prevention and Security roles; reinforcing policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Manage Supervisor in scheduling and supervising day to day assigned tasks of team members to ensure comprehensive coverage across the distribution center.
Conduct performance evaluations set clear expectations and provide coaching to drive individual and team success.
Address performance or policy compliance issues promptly with Talent team partnership as needed.
Partner with Talent to manage employee relations including conflict resolution and corrective actions.
Foster and encourage a positive collaborative work environment that encourages continuous improvement and teamwork and a culture of innovation and problemsolving.
To Land This Role:
H.S. Diploma/GED Required; Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Security Management Business Administration or a related field preferred; Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CPP LPC) is a plus.
7 years of experience in security management or loss prevention including 3 years in a leadership role preferably in a distribution center warehouse or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of physical security systems surveillance technologies and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication skills including the ability to deescalate situations and command/maintain control during high stress situations.
Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding)
Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt to fastmoving and/or volatile situations
Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and risk management strategies.
Knowledge of federal state and local security and safety regulations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify risks or discrepancies.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and maintain professionalism at all times.
Able to lift and move up to 35 lbs
Able to actively walk the warehouse floor or around the building (inside/outside); and stand for extended periods up to 12 hours
Must be willing to work extended hours if needed including weekends and holidays or when business dictates
