Job Description

The Workplace Services Specialist plays a key role in bringing our workplace to life by delivering services and amenities that enhance employee wellbeing engagement and productivity.

This position supports the Workplace Solutions team by providing exceptional customer service and sound judgment. Responsibilities include managing requests concerning building spaces equipment furniture moves ergonomics maintenance and cleaning. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external service providers as well as supporting employee events and activities. The Specialist also assists with projects as assigned by management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building & Service Request Coordination Serve as a resource for employee inquiries related to workplace needs helping to resolve or direct requests appropriately. Dispatch and track maintenance and service requests in FM Systems; escort vendors during onsite work as needed.
  • Meeting & Event Support Partner with the Meeting Services Lead to provide logistical support for meetings conferences and events including room setup and onsite coordination.
  • Project Assistance Support projects through a variety of tasks such as space verification vendor scheduling contractor access signage updates and floor plan changes. Assist with other project needs as they arise.
  • Financial & Purchasing Support Work with Accounts Payable and Purchasing to process department invoices and maintain tracking of purchase order balances and end dates.
  • Workplace Experience Support Assist in delivering a welcoming and seamless workplace experience by supporting daytoday office services meeting spaces and employee amenities.
  • General Administrative Support Take on other tasks and responsibilities that contribute to the success of the Workplace Solutions team and overall employee experience.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Workplace Operations Meeting Services Hospitality or Administrative Support in a corporate facilities setting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Strong multitasking skills and adaptability to evolving workplace needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Teams and Outlook; familiarity with FM Systems AutoCAD Cricut a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Requires frequent walking standing and sitting throughout the day.
  • Ability to bend stoop and reach as needed to perform tasks.
  • Comfortable working in various environments including indoor and outdoor settings.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this fulltime role is $21.40 $28.95 per hour which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to location relevant experience skills and knowledge business needs market demand and other factors Thrivent deems important.
