About the Role
We re seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale multiple highperforming engineering teams within a fastgrowing proptech company transforming how residential real estate is managed and monetized. In this role youll be at the forefront of delivering complex highimpact software projects that support a platform used by leading asset managers and real estate firms across the globe.
This position requires a strong background in web technologies cloud infrastructure and engineering leadership. Youll drive technical excellence mentor talented engineers and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to shape and execute the company s ambitious product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Scale Teams: Manage two or more engineering teams ensuring alignment high performance and continuous improvement.
- Project : Own delivery timelines and plans for key projects maintaining a balance between speed and software quality.
- Technical Leadership: Guide architectural decisions and development processes for scalable secure and reliable web applications.
- People Management: Partner with HR and leadership on hiring onboarding performance management and career development.
- Foster Culture: Promote an inclusive engaging and psychologically safe engineering culture where individuals can thrive.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work with Product Design and Business teams to ensure engineering supports key strategic objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Implement agile practices process improvements and tooling enhancements that boost team efficiency.
- Mentorship: Coach senior engineers into leadership roles and support growth for junior team members.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams (managing managers is a strong plus).
- Deep expertise in web technologies cloud platforms and scalable software architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects at scale.
- Strong people management skills: performance reviews career growth plans and hiring top talent.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile environments with continuous delivery practices.
- Comfortable influencing technical direction without being the primary handson contributor.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
- Background in SaaS B2B platforms or highscale web applications.
- Knowledge of data privacy security compliance and reliability best practices.
