Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Infusion for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Burlington MA 01805.
- Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Monday to Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2560 $2720
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and therapies via IV in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Monitor and assess patients during infusions to detect adverse reactions or complications.
- Document care and patient responses in EPIC electronic health records system.
- Provide patient education related to treatment side effects and selfcare.
- Collaborate with oncology providers and other healthcare team members for care coordination.
- Maintain proper documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
- Ensure proper handling and administration of chemotherapeutic and biologic agents (if applicable).
- Follow infection control safety and professional practice standards.
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent infusion nursing experience Required
- Oncology infusion experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- EPIC EMR experience is required
Education Licensure & Certifications:
- Current Massachusetts RN License REQUIRED
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from AHA REQUIRED
- ASN or BSN degree
