Job Description

The Group is actively seeking out talented enthusiastic Python Developers as a value addition to the growing team at Kolkata.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend applications using Python.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
- Implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between server and client.
- Write reusable testable and efficient code following best practices.
- Manage and optimize multiple databases and data storage solutions.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain version control in Git.
- Gather and analyze user requirements to provide optimal solutions
- Contribute to project documentation and specifications.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain quality assurance processes to ensure best practices are enforced.
- Engage in agile development practices participating in sprints and meetings.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
- 6 months of experience in Python development.
- Strong understanding of Django or Flask web frameworks.
- Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
