Job Description
Excis is hiring a Network Systems Administrator for a leading global client!
Location: Dublin Ireland (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)
Salary: 42000/year
Hours: MonFri 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (Occasional outofhours work)
Contract: 1year (renewable)
About the Role:
Join an expert storage/backup team managing enterprisescale infrastructure for Fortune 500 clients. You ll:
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize NetApp ONTAP NAS and Dell ECS/PowerScale storage systems
- Design/implement backup replication & disaster recovery solutions (Veeam/Dell Networker)
- Lead storage projects from planning to delivery
- Automate workflows using Python/Bash scripting
- Perform software/firmware upgrades and security hardening
- Participate in oncall rotation (shared team responsibility)
- Create detailed technical documentation and mentor junior staff
Tech Environment:
- Hardware: NetApp Dell ECS/Isilon/PowerMax/PowerStore
- Software: Veeam Kasten Dell Networker
- Platforms: Linux Windows Kubernetes
Requirements
- 23 years in enterprise storage/backup administration
- Expertise in NetApp ONTAP and object storage systems
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash)
- Knowledge of data protection strategies and disaster recovery
- (Nicetohave) Kubernetes/Kasten experience

NetApp ONTAP Administration (NAS storage), Dell ECS / Object Storage management, Enterprise Backup Solutions (Veeam / Dell Networker), Disaster Recovery & Data Replication, Scripting Automation (Python / Bash), Linux / Windows Server administration, Storage Security Hardening (best practices), Firmware / Software Upgrades (patch management), Technical Documentation (processes / configurations), Incident Resolution (RCA, troubleshooting), Kubernetes / Kasten experience, Dell PowerScale / Isilon knowledge.
Education
Degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience + NetApp/Veeam certifications preferred. CompTIA Server+
