The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions ensuring compliance with financial regulations handling office administration and supporting the overall operational efficiency of Stratostaff East Africas Tanzania office. The role requires strong financial management skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Management
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports budgets and forecasts in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process payments payroll and statutory deductions while ensuring timely remittance of taxes and other obligations.
- Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor cash flow and provide insights for financial decisionmaking.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies procedures and local tax laws.
Administration & Operations
- Oversee office administration including procurement asset management and vendor coordination.
- Support HR functions such as recruitment logistics staff records management and onboarding of new employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies local labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain office supplies equipment and facilities to support efficient operations.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings events and travel arrangements.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- CPA ACCA or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in finance and administration roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian financial regulations and tax laws.
- Experience working in a multinational or HR outsourcing firm is an added advantage.
