Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Catoosa OK
Pay: $20$23/hour
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Catoosa OK. This role involves performing a wide range of material handling duties including operating forklifts cranes scissor lifts and other equipment. The ideal candidate will be safetyfocused detailoriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts of various sizes and types
Safely operate bridge cranes jib cranes and scissor lifts
Interact professionally with truck drivers and delivery personnel
Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain proper documentation
Properly rig loads for safe lifting and movement
Assess and determine the best handling process for materials and finished products
Maintain a clean and hazardfree work area
Follow all safety procedures including JSAs PPE requirements and work instructions
Identify and appropriately manage defective items
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Experience & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Certification in forklift crane and other lifting devices
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Selfmotivated with the ability to work in a team environment
Physically capable of frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) standing climbing stooping kneeling crouching and balancing
Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness
Problemsolving skills and ability to use reasoning in daily operations
Commitment to safety for self and team
Takes pride in delivering quality work on a daily basis
