We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FullStack Engineer (Backend Heavy) to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building robust and scalable backend systems while being comfortable working on frontend technologies (mostly vanilla Javascript and JQuery) when needed. You will be crucial in developing maintaining and optimizing our web applications to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain backend systems using Laravel and .
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate thirdparty services to support frontend functionalities.
- Write efficient and reusable code to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Implement frontend features using JavaScript jQuery and Bootstrap to create userfriendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and deliver quality solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Optimize database queries and manage data integrity in MySQL or other relational databases.
- Conduct code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve systems.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members when needed
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of professional experience in fullstack development with a strong focus on backend development.
- Backend Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Laravel framework.
- Strong knowledge of for building serverside applications.
- Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge with API testing tools like Postman
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL). Preferably MySQL
- Deep understanding of how to scale and optimise backend systems
- Frontend Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript jQuery and Bootstrap for creating responsive UI components.
- Basic understanding of HTML5 CSS3 and crossbrowser compatibility.
- Deployment & Infrastructure:
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Deploying and managing server instances
- AWS core services (EC2 S3 ALB Route 53 etc)
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Additionally Required Skills:
- Familiarity with version control tools including Git and Bitbucket
- Strong understanding of the git workflow
- Working experience with collaborative tools such as JIRA and Google Chat
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
- Excellent debugging and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to write clean maintainable and welldocumented code.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail.
